KNITTING – Baby caps are made for the Memorial Hospital newborn nursery. Prayer Shawls are made and distributed to the ill.
CAMPBELL SOUP LABELS – are collected for Cooper Community, which is a daycare center in Roxbury, Mass., sponsored by the United Methodist Church. Labels are redeemed for computer equipment and educational supplies and in the past were used to purchase a bus.
STUFFED BEAR PROGRAM – “Love Bears All” is a program where teddy bears are donated, blessed and placed in the pews. Members of the congregation can take them to give to ill members or friends.
WORCESTER FELLOWSHIP – Socks and Sandwiches are provided for the three members involved in this mission to take to the homeless in Worcester. Every week a church service is held for the homeless and our church is responsible for providing sandwiches once a month. The socks are distributed as needed. Over the ankle Men’s and Women’s socks (new ones) are gratefully accepted.
